all things wonderful wrapped up into one post (fall, pumpkins, starbucks, a date with my husband). this was a fun one to share! john and i were invited to the pumpkin patch with friends and we were so excited to go but because of a number of unfortunate events we weren't able. john threw out his back and was out for a few days and i came down with a terrible awful cold that had me flat on my back for 3 days straight. It's been a rough few weeks. I knew we had to make it to the pumpkin patch at one point since it was our first halloween as husband and wife and I wanted to be sure we were participating in all of the holiday fun together. I love traditions and always enjoy starting our own traditions together. I wasn't about to let a bad cold and some waddling get in our way. We moved slowly and I sneezed on every pumpkin but it was a memory and im so glad we made it out this year. My friend told me about this pumpkin patch called The Farm here and this pumpkin patch was really something amazing. My smiling face in the photos may fool you but to be honest I wasn't feeling too hot. All and all we are so glad that we went. My favorite part was holding hands and walking around. The corn maze was also something special! We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch as husband and wife and making our own family traditions was a win!

my husband is a total stud! he could barely walk and yet he managed to walk all over the pumpkin patch and corn maze with me without complaining! such a trooper.
